Scientists rediscover a natural pathogen killer...

Researchers have recently rediscovered a group of the most wonderful, naturally-occurring, health substances of the century. These miraculous substances are called — elenolates — (pronounced e-LEN-oh-lates). Elenolates have been demonstrated to kill virtually every pathogen known to man when introduced to the microorganism in a test tube (in vitro).

For years microbiologists at a well-known drug company tried to duplicate these results in the body (in vivo) so they could make the most powerful, broad-spectrum, anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-fungal drug ever patented. After years and years and lots of money, they gave up.

We now know that — as with many organic compounds — elenolates have two forms called stereo isomers. Probably the most commonly known stereo isomers are found in amino acids, which are components of all proteins.

Carnitine is a very popular and beneficial amino acid supplement. It is more accurately called l-carnitine because there are two isomers of carnitine, l-carnitine and d-carnitine.

Much like human hands which have identical components (fingers, tendons, muscles) but come in a left and right form which are mirror images of each other, stereo isomers are structured so there are left and right molecules.

This is important because although stereo isomers have identical molecular composition, there is often a very significant difference in their chemical properties and the way they behave in living tissues. In fact, l-carnitine is commonly sold in virtually every health food store in the U.S. whereas, the right form — d-carnitine — has been found to be detrimental to health and has actually been banned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Elenolates also come in left-handed (l-enolate), and right-handed (d-elenolate) forms. It is believed that the reason early research with elenolates was unsuccessful in vitro is that the researchers were working with the left-handed form. This form binds to serum proteins in the blood, rendering it useless within a few minutes.

It is also believed that the right-handed form (d-elenolate) does not bind to the serum protein in the body and thus it is able to perform its pathogen-killing function without hindrance.

Researchers at East Park Research, Inc. have found and perfected a way to potentiate the right-handed version of these compounds with a process so unique that we have received patent protection for it.
